Law enforcers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the awarding of bonuses to Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, which, according to the complainant, could have been paid without proper decisions of the City Council.
According to Andriy Petryshyn, such actions could have caused millions in losses to the city budget.
Criminal proceedings No. 42025140000000242 were opened on 13 November 2025. The investigation is being conducted under the article on embezzlement of budget funds on an especially large scale.
On 15 April 2026, Petryshyn filed an additional petition with the regional prosecutor’s office to obtain information about the progress of the case. The very next day, he received a response confirming that operational measures had been taken.
The investigation is currently focused on analysing documents, approval procedures and the role of officials in the bonus calculation process.
